Richard J. (Rick) Whitesell currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director at Medipack Pharmacy. Rick studied at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1986, and at Wake Forest University, where he earned a Masters in Business Administration in 1991. Over the course of his 32 year career, Rick has worked in multiple sectors of pharmacy including Hospital, Retail, Pharmaceutical Sales, and Long Term Care Pharmacy. Rick discovered his passion for Long Term Care Pharmacy in 1993 and he has been actively managing Long Term Care pharmacies ever since. While he takes great pride in being a successful businessperson, Rick's greatest love is taking care of his residents, his nursing facility customers, and his employees. Rick and his family currently reside in Advance, NC.
